Today we discuss about how to install an oracle linux os in vmware
S-1 First we need to install VMware then we choose create new virtual machine
S-2 Click the custom and Press "Next"
S-3 Press "Next"
S-4 Choosing disk image and Press "Next"
S-5 Change the Virtual machine name and Choose the location where its has been stored
S-6 Allocate Processors for these Vmware machine and Press "Next"
S-7 Allocate Ram Size for These Virutal Machine
S-8 Press "Next"
S-9 Press "Next"
S-10 Press "Next"
S-11 Press "Next"
S-12 Allocate Disk Space and Press "Next"
S-13 Choose location for linux .vmdk
S-14 See our virtual machine setup configuration and Press "Finish"
Check Status and power on this virtual machine
Click the Skip
Click the create custom layout
Check the free space
Click the new button and add the below mount point space for /
Click the new button and add the below mount point space for /tmp
Allocate Swap Size it must be double the RAM Size
Click the new button and add the below mount point space for /boot
Click the new button and add the below mount point space for /u01
Finally check status and click next
Press Edit button
Allocate Manual configuration and type the ip address
Edit the Hostname as oracle11g
Type the Password of Root User
Press Customize now and next
Press Development package and see the below screen short for other packages
Press Servers package and see the below screen short for other packages
Press Base system package and click the optional Packages
Press optional Packages and select the below packages
Reboot the system
Agree the License
Set Date and Time
Press "Ok" for Reboot
Enter as a root User
To View the screen
select the settings and install the vmware tools from VMware and Click the vmware tools cd
copy the vmware tools to desktop and right click unzip the folder
Install the vmware tools
Select Screen Resolution
Restart the system After install the Vmware tools
Note: after restart the system login as a normal oracle (default) user Linux os is working fine
