Hi, In this tutorial, you will learn, how to install CatBoost R programming package for Mac,Windows, and Linux.

You can not install CatBoost package using the R programming standard installer(install.packages).

Note: 64-bit version is recommended from the CatBoost documentation

Step1:

Step1 is common for all platforms(Mac, Windows, and Linux). Execute the below code on your R programming console.

install.packages('devtools')

Step2:

This step is also nearly the same for all OS. However, you have to use the corresponding packages URL. Execute the below code on the R Programming console.

Windows CatBoost Install Command

devtools::install_url('https://github.com/catboost/catboost/releases/download/v0.6.1.1/catboost-R-Windows-0.6.1.1.tgz',

Mac CatBoost Install Command
